All horses are weighted according to a scale determined solely by previous form. Age and sex are irrelevant in handicap races.

| | | | P H O T O - F I N I S H | A still image of the first horse crossing the wire and the positions of other horses immediately behind the winner.
| | | | P U R S E | The total monetary amount distributed to the owners of the horses who have finished in the first four positions in that race. (aka stakes money)
